Mother? I've got plenty. I have two mamas --- mama babes and mama joan, and i have two mamis, too --- mami dedette and mami mickOy. But, i used to call the one who gave birth to me as NANAY.
Honestly, we're not that close to each other, because i grew up with mami dedette for about six years. Nanay and i argue a lot of things. We don't unite on a certain thing --- almost everything. But, there was a time that i really felt loved by Nanay, no matter how we don't agree on much.
Back when i was in third year, there was a conflict between me and my friends --- betrayal. I felt alone all those times. i cried every night thinking that i was so stupid to trust them. i tried to hide it from Nanay, but then she saw the "pOst it" (written all the pain that i felt towards them) on the wall in my room. And so, tears fell down. ;(
There, i have seen how much she was concerned about me, how much she was angry at them for hurting me, how much she cared for me, how much she LOVED me. (sigh)
Nanay is one of the BEST that have in this world, aside from Tatay and my two siblings.
3 things that are difficult for me to say to Her:
**SORRY ... for being hard-headed.
... for being disobedient sometimes.
... for the wrong doings that i've done.
**THANK YOU ... for the love, care, comfort, support.
... for the advices you gave me.
... for being a NANAY always to us.
**ILOVEYOU ... though i am not uttering this 8-letter word, buT you know that WE LOVE YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
i hope you could read this, Nay... ;))
you'll never be replaced --- akung diLi mapuLihan nga INAhan, JEANNETTE PEREZ SUACITO.

Having many mothers could make make you lucky already and look, there are a plenty of them who care for you. Isn't it touching to realize that even your biological mother who is not that close to you, still show her tremendous love for you? Perhaps, she's the type who doesn't appear when you need her the least, but appears when you need her the most.
ReplyDeleteEven there's a conflict between you, it never became her reason not to show her love for you..She really loves you..I'm looking forward to both of you that one day, you'll really be that close like friends :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that it is really hard to say I LOVE YOU to our mother. But even we don't say it, we still showing the best love that we can give to our loving and incomperable mothers. our mothers always show their love and care for us.
